Hey Shifters!

We are two friends—one hailing from the UK and the other from the US—who have found that, despite our diverse backgrounds, we’ve encountered similar challenging (and sometimes awkward) experiences since relocating to Denmark. Over the years, we've also collected numerous stories from friends and colleagues, detailing the regular ups and downs. This sparked the idea for our Podcast, as many people find settling into life in Denmark to be quite the circus, but even those who are established here continue to face hiccups along the way, and it's these moments that we want to hone in on. Our start -up mantra is "Polish is the enemy of intimacy". So we won't be perfect, we will make mistakes but we will own them and poke fun at ourselves along the way.
